![]() Two of my favorite songs on the album are the songs “A Tale of 2 Citiez” and “Fire Squad”. Cole was just a normal everyday person and not a big and extravagant rapper. He uses some witty bars like the line “I haven’t been in pussy since the day I came out one”. Cole uses his storytelling skills and rhymes about losing his virginity. Cole is a very socially conscious rapper and I enjoy that. Cole spits some thought provoking rhymes in this song like the line where he says “What’s the price of a black mans life? I checked the tag not one zero in sight”. There is this sort of angelic humming through the track. The production behind this song is top notch. The LP starts out with a track titled “January 28th”. Cole would come out with next, and now people finally have the answer. Cole’s previous release “Born Sinner” was critically acclaimed.
